Many people will tell you that it doesn’t matter what you wear – the point is in what you say. Don’t believe it. When you show up for a business meeting looking slovenly, people tend to conclude that you have the same attitude about your work.
Your clothing does not need to be over the top, nor does it need to be expensive. But it needs to be appropriate for the client and the environment.
